Welcome to the Department of Food Engineering of NPI University of Bangladesh. Department of Food Engineering is engaged to produce skilled graduates who can keep sign in the development of a hunger free world through the involvement in food sector. At this 21st Century, ensuring health and safe food as well as sufficient supply of food is a challenge. To meet up this challenge, increased production, processing and preservation of foods, development of new food products and associated technologies are demand of time. We offer 4-year-long B.Sc. in Food Engineering program where we introduce students with the state-of-the-art scientific technologies related to food science through world class teaching-learning and research environment to keep pace with the modern world. Thus, we create interest in proactive learning, research and entrepreneurship among students through moral, ethical and social education.
